Date: 6.9.2004 Author: Mr. P Magazine: Desperation Squad - Blog BANISHMENT UPDATE We received a nice letter from the Graves Brothers Deluxe, the band that had the misfortune of crossing paths with the D-Squad after an otherwise successful gig at Spaceland. We had reported that the band had gotten banned from the club permanently. Apparently that is not true. Like any sensational news provider, we ran the story without first checking our sources. Frankly, the whole thing sounded better with the band getting kicked out. So, unlike Fox News, or the Bush administration, we issue a retraction. While it is true that the manager of Spaceland reprimanded the singer and then "sped off in his SUV" there have been no confirmed reports of reprisal or further punishment, other than several innocent people having to view Panda Man??s ass for an extended period of time. We regret any harm that has come from the erroneous report.
