Una: que The Graves Brothers Deluxe es una banda de m?sicos curtidos en mil batallas (en el curr?åculo de sus miembros figuran los nombres de Thin White Rope, Granfaloon Bus, Dingle y Lunchbox). Dos: que el terreno que siempre han querido pisar no dista mucho del desert rock de Giant Sand o 13th Floor Elevators e incluso de los sonidos c?õsmicos de los Dandy Warhols. Pero algo les falta. Su estilo, aunque contundente y exento de volutas ?± eso casi siempre se agradece ?± resulta funcional. Una virtud que, mirada en negativo, acaba constituyendo su peor lastre. Pese a la descarga de energ?åa vocal e instrumental de su repertorio, les falta duende. Todo est¬? en su lugar pero algo se echa de menos. Y eso que no les ha fallado ayuda: Sean Coleman (The Sunshine Club) pone la guitarra en ?¨Sun Sneak down?Æ y ?¨Chance And Luck?Æ; Jeff Palmer (Sunny Day Real Estate, Granfaloon Bus) hace acto de presencia en ?¨Somewhere Someone?Æ y ?¨Honey?Æ; y Desmond Shea (Rhythm & Noise) oficia el encuentro puli?àndolo todo al mando de la producci?õn.
